Second Infobar v5 Plugin

Hello Everyone,

Second Infobar v5 Plugin is a modified version of secondinfobar2_3.9, available on the Gemini feed.

This version has been completely reorganized and optimized, with several new features and improvements, including:

• Added an Enable/Disable option to hide the Second InfoBar when no data is available for the Now or Next event.
• Ability to retrieve Now or Next event data from the EPG cache.
• You can now Enable/Disable the “Hide Infobar if Second InfoBar is shown” option without restarting Enigma2.
• Removed outdated plugins that are no longer compatible, such as VirtualZap.
• Updated the German language file.

Important Notes:

Before installing the modified version, make sure to remove the original one first so everything works properly.

apt-get purge --auto-remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-secondinfobar2

🗑 Uninstalling the Plugin:

If you’re not satisfied with my modified version, you can easily remove it and revert to the original version available on the Gemini feed.

apt-get purge --auto-remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-secondinfobar-v5

Hope the translation is correct!

The plugin’s location is always in Main Menu > Setup > Picture and Sound > Second Infobar Setup.

Unfortunately, I forgot to mention earlier that my edits were only tested on the original image with the default skin.

If you’re using a custom image or a skin that depends mainly on its own secondinfobar, removing it would also delete the entire skin, which is not a good idea!
