Nope sent it back for a refund which I got but it still came back to me. The box locks up even when doing the simplest things and loses sound. It needs a urgent update but it looks like it has had nothing for months. At the moment there does not seem to be much positive chatter about the box.

Hmm. It does not sound good at all.

I cant find a test or a review on YouTube at all. Its strange. Thanks for your input.

I actully bought this. In so curious and also love enigma2 box. So I rather pick up a Iptvbox from

Like Dream multimedia or Octagon, insted of china Iptv box.

I would be very interested to find out if you have the same issues as mine. You will need to do updates but they can be done ota. I only set mine up with tivimate initially but what i find is that after a short period of use the box seems to lock up. The sound disappeared and the iptv will not play. I also find that the ethernet port at the rear does not work.

On the plus side the UI and the remote are very good.

Okey so it wont play? Sounds strange. Okey so wifi works great with IPTV with this box? I mean when its playing?

I actully had Dreambox one before and I had a LOT of problems with Iptv as well. But with my dm900 almost no problem.

So you go through the set up, mind you don't get caught trying to pair the remote up, from memory you have to push both buttons or one after the other.

The box boots up fine after you have set it up. It has a nice interface, i set up tivimate with my iptv details and it brings in all my channels and vod fine. You start using the box and after a while at a random stage (usually with in minutes) if you change a channel a picture of the channel appears but its just frozen. If you go back to the main menu the click noise of toggling left and right on the home screen has also disappeared. Try playing youtube and you just get whirling blue circle as if its trying. A reboot fixes the problem for so long and then it does it again. I have tried this with only youtube, then smarters pro. with no tivimate installed. Its like it runs out of memory. The ethernet port also appears to be faulty and the cable does not seem to sit in the port correctly and there are no lights on the port.

I tried to contact the new owners of dreambox, Satco de i believe and they never responded. I tried to go through amazon de but he contact the supplier failed. Sending the box back to amazon is not as easy as it is in the uk as they will not give you your money back until you have sent it to them and you have to fill out all the customs forms also the live chat was in german until i asked them to speak english.

okey thanks for details. I mean, why not care about the costumers? I dont understand. No one will buy this box if they dont uppdate it. Or try to respond. I dont understand..,,

Be prepared to be shocked at how small the box actually is. It is literally smaller than a raspberry pie. If you do a search of the german dreambox boards and do google translate you will get a feeling of what others are saying about the box. I really hope that you get a good one and it works perfectly for you.

So it game this evening. I tried to set upp iptv but it only loads channels bouquet. No vod at all.

I dont have more time tonight but I should try more tomorrow. I really like the UI and I want to use Dreambox play app because I like the design better than tivimate.

Have You tried to use the app that in preinstalled?

And ye, I tried to login to Disney but every time I try to push login button the app crash

No i did not set up the dreambox app as i downloaded both tivimate and smarters pro. I turned mine on tonight to see if there were any updates but unfortunately not.

If you have only had a little time to play with your box have you done the updates? Mine came on version 3 software so i have to take it up to version 6. Updates are available ota.

No is It updates? Where?

From the home screen click the little gears icon in the top right for settings. Scroll down to "device" and possibly the first item is update. Click this and it will check on line for updates.
