  • You can try reinstalling a clean recovery image on Slot 1 Taking into consideration when installing the recovery image, all images installed on the internal flash will be deleted let it be

    The installation method is easy

unzip the image, upload it to USB, connect USB to the device, enter recovery mode and install it

    good luck

  • Thanks,I will try this way

  • I installed the latest openeight emmc but now I only have six slots for multiboot and I can no longer see the images I had installed after slot number six. Is there a way to get it back to how it was before?

This is normal because the MultiBoot device is designed to install 2 images on the SD card unless you divide the flash again.

What is the number of slots that you had previously so that try to return them to you

  • I followed the instructions and installed the emmc file, the image is installed on slot 1, then I tried to reboot twice but nothing has changed.

  • make a system configurations backup and install from the recovery . easy online new image in the recovery menu ,network multiboot image upgrade.

    15 minutes and is ok

Can you explain better what does it mean " easy online new image" and and what you do from "network multiboot image upgrade" menù ?

Before the recovery flash you should have saved the "boot" folder where you find a situation similar to this:

    12-12-2024 15-35-29.jpg

Also the file /etc/fstab should be backed up and then restore them all after flash to get all the slots available.
It's something people often forget to mention when they suggest to recovery flash.

Try to copying these files via FTP using just the number of startup file for the number of slots you previousy had but before for safety make a backup of the ones you have now.

i forgot to tell in OpenATV ,i install from the recovery a network multiboot image upgrade. on slot 2 , when you have a settings backup and install a new openATV the install all the settings automaticaly if you want. I do and spend 15 m to put a new image without that bug.

  • You mean that the Receiver booted to the newly installed Image or that the reboot command did not work?

No,doesn't work, I must turn off and on the receiver from the rear button

You cannot express your problem clearly so that we can help you

You can try This way there is a small button on the back  called / Recovery (Reset)

It will restore the device as if you had never used it before. It is considered factory reset

    The way

It is best to remove anything connected to the device, the SD card, the USB hard disk, and turn off the device using the power button on the back and restart the power button as soon as the screen shows BOOT. Press and hold the recovery button on the back with a match or the tip of a pen because it is small and you cannot press it except with help due to its small size. Until the screen changes to UPDT then Leave it

Of course, you must install a recovery image on Slot 1 because it will erase the images previously installed on the device.

    good luck

  • I have already done what you say but by pressing the button in front until it went to update and then NECO. Then from the menu I went to recovery and from there I installed an openatv emmc from a USB stick that was installed on slot 1 deleting the others. After configuring it, I tried a total reboot, but it always gets stuck on the time. Now I will try using the reset rear button

  • Nothing to do, Just installed the emmc file on slot 1, the receiver does itself a reboot, but after that, nothing happens even when trying to switch from one image to another. I'll try to buy a Supreme for the third time, which already gave me big problems partitioning the SD card.

You do not have to Surrender it quickly, but you must follow up with solutions. You do not have a major problem that cannot be solved until you buy a new device. Perhaps you do not have much experience in dealing with the device. Is the process of dividing the SD card easy? In a minute you can divide it, but the most important thing is to solve your problem. Have you tried Reset through the device's back button, as previously explained in the previous post. You can try the method in the next topic in the forum. Be patient, God willing. The problem will be solved

This forum topic is about partitioning the SD card

My friend, when you install an emmc Image, you lose all Images both in Flash and in Multiboot. At that time, you end up with only one installed Image, that in Slot 1. Nothing else. So, if you wish to boot to another Image, you have to install another Image in Slot2, 3 or 4, for example. Only then, you will be able to boot to a different Image in Slot 2, 3 or 4.

I wouldn't waste time with the supreme, they are almost all bugged, I had two and both had problems with the SD card, I have been for mounths exchanging mails with the support but they say they didn't find any problem and there's no way to be heard.
I know it's attractive for the internal SSD but I'd suggest you to forget it for now and if you really have to do it get the older version not Supreme.
I know that soon they will come out with another new version, just to conferm what they deny, tha that decoder is nothing more than a waste of money and Octagon is not a serious brand.

You are absolutely right, I bought 3 on Amazon and returned them out of desperation, it did not format and partition the SD card. The normal model does not have this problem, but mine does not boot between one image and another
