Thank you for this useful plugin. After a reboot I needed to re-activate the plugin. Is it possible for the plugin to remain activated once it is activated, for example, after a reboot? Thks.

On Octagon sf8008, sd card runs normally same as in 7.6.

As you have said, it's probably faulty. Pen drive was formatted to FAT 32, I presume.

I have abertis on openATV, OpenVix and other OEA images and all work fine. However, I have installed abertis (PLI version definitely) on both OpenPLI-9.1 and Scarthgap but am getting continuous freezing. On the latter Images, other 30W channels work fine. The freezes occur only on abertis channels. Is there a solution to this, please?
Have re-installed everything. On OpenPLI-9.1 now works fine. The freezing is only on Scarthgap, which is still in testing mode, anyway. So everything is fine.

Can the 4 Flash Slots be also mounted please?
Sure add this line to your fstab if you have octagon sf8008 or change your Mmc file name
/dev/mmcblk0p16 /media/Flash auto defaults 0 0
Since they are mounted collectively and not separately, is there a way how can one access just one slot through telnet?

On Octagon-sf8008, on OpenATV-7.4 there was a very useful option to goto Menu_Setup>System>Storage Devices>Initialization
from where, for instance, one could initialize a micro sdcard. Since this option is not available on OpenATV-7.6, can it be re-instated, please?

Nothing to do, Just installed the emmc file on slot 1, the receiver does itself a reboot, but after that, nothing happens even when trying to switch from one image to another. I'll try to buy a Supreme for the third time, which already gave me big problems partitioning the SD card.
My friend, when you install an emmc Image, you lose all Images both in Flash and in Multiboot. At that time, you end up with only one installed Image, that in Slot 1. Nothing else. So, if you wish to boot to another Image, you have to install another Image in Slot2, 3 or 4, for example. Only then, you will be able to boot to a different Image in Slot 2, 3 or 4.

I installed the openTV 7.4 emmc recovery file...slot 1, then installed clean openatv 7.5,slot2, clean openvix,slot 4, and clean open pli,slot 6, but the receiver still does not boot from one image to another
If you are running an image in slot 1, 2, 3 or 4 , the first part of: /boot/STARTUP should be: boot emmcflash0
Therefore, the first part of: STARTUP_1, STARTUP_2, STARTUP_3 and STARTUP_4 should also all be: boot emmcflash0
Please check.

You mean that the Receiver booted to the newly installed Image or that the reboot command did not work?

When trying to download some Plugins either manually or from the Feeds, I get the following message:-
nothing provides libc6 >= 2.39+git0+273a835fe7
and the Plugin is not installed.

If blindscanning and tuner versatility is important I would check out TNAP on legitfta.com.
There is a good section on the SF8008 receiver covering many things you may expect of it from the specifications posted, but are not actually true.
As close to a second party review as you can get. The deficiencies may surprise you. The capabilities of it might also.Tried to check on legitfta.com. They promised to send activation but never did so up to now...almost a week or more, already.

I found the solution hidden in a note which I once saved on my laptop but had completely forgotten about.
The OpenSpa Image does not like Image names listed in Multiboot Selector as "None None None".
In my Multiboot Selector I have one such Image named like that.
So I booted to OpenATV Image and hid the "NoneNoneNone" Image.
Booted to OpenSpa and the Multiboot Selector now works correctly.
As already said, the OpenSpa Image does not like Image names "NoneNoneNone" and so they have to be hidden (by the Yellow Button).
Such hidden Images, when requested, can later on be restored by the Blue Button.
