This is a very old problem, but there's no solution yet. You can set the screen resolution in the Kodi plugin itself, but after restarting the plugin, the screen resolution isn't saved.

Regarding the online translation subscription, the build has everything you need for it—the necessary files have been added to Enigma2 and the binary package is available on the feed. I've been told that this feature may not work on private builds.
