OpenATV 7.6 – Discussion & New Features

The crash in Smallbox is gone, but I found a new bug in the e2 hotplug. It removes the expander entries from the fstab. That was also the reason why FTP and Telnet stopped working and for the BSOD, because the expander was no longer mounted. However, the root cause lies elsewhere in the hotplug part. I think we’ll fix that today, but it may still take a few days until all images receive the update.

I installed OATV 7.6 on dreamtwo. I can't find how to activate HDMI Cec or even how to activate the display in standby mode. If the options are there, what is the path?

Also, I notice that there is no PIP function. Is it activated in some way?

I used the telnet opkg update then opkg upgrade and all seems ok . I did try image online software update and it killed the image but luckily I had a full back up and flashed that then did the telnet opkg way and rebooted and worked. zgemma h7s

Why do I open a movie on Kodi I hear the audio but the video doesn't work? Is there anything to set?

Latest 7.6 software update has messed up service app and exteplayer3 is not installed only gstplayer works so I uninstalled service app and reinstalled but still the same.

Non work exteplayer3, foot on sat, ipaudio pro.

Thanks installed the arm ipk and all back working again ! on 7.6 zeg h7s

Just checked software update again on 7.6 and its got one update available which is extplayer3 but its not the right one as when updated it ends up showing in service app that its not installed so had to use the ipk file again

I installed the .ipk on my Mutant HD66se and it's running.

New software update 16/08/25 for openatv 7.6 has fixed the issue of exteplayer3
