Difficulty transferring files with SAMBA from PC to SX88 V2

I use SAMBA to transfer files between my Windows 11 PC and Octagon SX88 V2 with Openvix 6.7.

I can transfer small files from the PC e.g softcam or small films but anything much bigger won't transfer. There is plenty of space on the USB stick attached to the SX88 but I just get a message saying there isn't enough capacity.

I'd be grateful for advice on how to get big files e.g films of several gigabytes from the PC to the satellite receiver.

The USB stick was formatted as NFTS before it was plugged into the satellite receiver.

should I be changing the format now it's plugged into the satellite receiver?

Thanks but I'm trying to transfer from the PC to the USB stick attached to the SX88. Small files transfer, larger ones do not.

Thank you. I take your point but I am trying to use WiFi to avoid constantly plugging in and unplugging the USB stick.

Thanks, transfers work OK with ftp. Will use that instead of SAMBA.
