What box have you actually got???
Zgemma made that many models. But I don't think they made an S2.

And it matters, because you need to put the correct image on it.
Also if it is one of those older boxes, your probably cannot run any new images, probably openatv 6.4 is your best bet.
Shudder... my very first box the 2s. Painfully slow box. Takes about an hour to boot up 
If you can flash it, but its failing it could well be the power supply. Its a pretty standard power supply so you probably have one similar for something.
It could also be a memory issue if you not set up your box correctly.
It could also be full of dust, that box is 10 years old. Open it up and give it an air blast or vacuum and observe nothing looks out of place or lose.

And what do I recommend. I don't know what you plan on using your box for, whether as a satellite receiver or iptv, but the zgemma 2s is one of the original boxes. Served a purpose at the time, but not really much use nowadays.
Modern boxes are much faster and powerful.
Put yourself out of your misery and end your battle with it.
In fact I probably still got mine in a box somewhere. I would gladly give it someone for free if they asked.
