  • That wasn't meant to be an attack! i just don't understand it.

your question was about ccam, then you are confusing me with oscam.

i never said anything about cccam, i always mentioned oscamicamnew...

The most correct thing to do and I repeated it 5 times is to reinstall the cams.

i reinstalled the cam after all.

I hope someone else smarter than me can.

Please... my friend... don't say that.

I think we are talking at cross purposes.

I don't understand why you want to make a script to restart oscam.

I just want to long press red and the cam will restart.

The script is already in softcam.oscamicamnew (etc/init.d) and there with the yellow button you restart oscam in Softcam settings.

As I have shown it in the screenshot above (yellow button)?

Does that mean i don't need my own script?

  • Is your problem with the image freezing, so you restart oscam every time?

    Right.

that's also a language barrier problem.

I'll try to explain it again:

    The SZP works quite well.

sometimes the picture hangs and when I restart it via the OpenATV menu with yellow, it works great again.

I wanted to put this on the hotkey so that I don't always have to go through the whole menu. That's all

  • You can solve this with Hotkey Settings. I pressed example the yellow button > Setup > Softcam Setup > Save . Now when I press the yellow button, Softcam Settings opens and I do a Restart oscam.

I don't know if you can, I'll leave you some commands to launch in telnet

    check if the file exists

    ls -l /etc/init.d/softcam

    check if cccam is running

ps aux | grep -i cccam

    search for the executive track

    which cccam

    My Output is:

    Quote

    root@ustym4kpro:~# find / -type f -iname "cccam" 2>/dev/null

    /usr/bin/cccam

or with this command for find it

    find / -type f -iname "cccam" 2>/dev/null

you can also put the output here.

    the question arises spontaneously

Did you make the script? With which program?

Try to give this command from telnet and then run it

    sed -i 's/\r$//' /usr/script/*.sh

    chmod +x /usr/script/*.sh

  • I have executed the commands. you can see the output in the screenshot.

    which cccam

    find / -type f -iname "cccam" 2>/dev/null

    did not bring any results

    the question arises spontaneously

Did you make the script? With which program?

Yes. I copied the structure from another script and the command also works in the FCA.sh script.

    I use Notepad++ for this.

    sed -i 's/\r$//' /usr/script/*.sh

    chmod +x /usr/script/*.sh

    I have done it.

something has also changed, but the screen just stays still and the display doesn't go away...

you don't have cccam bin ..

    you confused ccam with oscam..

and you gave me a headache for this

    :exploding head:

if you had explained better and read my reply to your first post carefully..

    :hmmmm:

if you solved it I'll close this useless topic.

    :goodluck:

  • 2 things.

script files need unix endings. So make sure in your text editor you change the line endings.
    i.e in notepad++
    its edit > EOL Conversion > Unix(LF)

Have you changed the *.sh file permissions.
You need change the script permission to allow execution. i.e 755

Those 2 things I always forget.

** A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected **

  • 2 things.

yes, I have checked the two points.

Unix (LF) is activated (other files in Notepad++ also work).

    permissions are set to 755.

    in other words:

is there a way or command i can put in the script to grab the command from this menu “restart” (yellow button)?

    Aufnahme2.jpg

as you can see, a small info window appears (Bearbeite) and a loading bar runs through. after that it always works.

the Restart command is nothing more than the sum of 2 commands

so I don't understand where you want to get if it's already like this, even if you change the cam management plugin at the next update everything would go back to how it was before

For me, I think this discussion is not useful

  • so I don't understand where you want to get

i don't know how to explain it better, my english is not good.

I'll try to explain it again:

the SZP works quite well for me. when I watch HD+ (german provider), it is very stable.

but when i switch to sky, it often happens that the picture freezes after a few seconds.

if i then restart the cam via the menu from #29, the picture resets (goes black) and comes back after a few seconds (when a server has been reached again) and then it runs through.

i would like to have this on a hotkey so that i don't always have to go through the whole menu.

if that doesn't work, i'll just have to do it the way i've been doing it all the time, which shouldn't be a problem.

what i have noticed, however, is that the script i wrote works with HD+ but not with sky.

that is, with HD+ the picture stops for a moment (but doesn't go black) and then comes back. with sky it just stops, nothing else happens.

when i insert your command above into the script, nothing happens. only the content is displayed...

For me, I think this discussion is not useful

i'm sorry, i don't mean to be a pain. i don't understand much about this and thought it would be done very quickly. i didn't think it would be such a problem.

i can understand that you lose your nerve when i don't understand what you're writing, it's not intentional.

  • Is there a way so the script will detect automatically when oscam is freezed/not running? maybe via log reader?

  • I don't see any reason to restart oscam or any special script when the picture freezes. Oscam runs all the time and the problem is not with it, but with the servers you are using.Look in oscam.log which server is causing the freeze, and temporarily disable it.

  • Hi.

Sorry if I'm replying to an old post.

You've probably already solved this. But I'll ask anyway... and I'll be happy to help.

Sorry but once again... what is not working ? And what exactly do you want to achieve ? If you don't know English, please use translate.google.com, on the left side select your native language and on the right side English. Then copy the English text (translated text) here into the discussion.

  • Hey man, not really i havent found a solution yet. The thing is, oscam constantly freezes after a while of being idle/or normally watching some channels it suddendly stops decoding/freezes. Is there any way to make a script that will prevent the oscam from freezing the image like that? Because everytime we have to open menu and go trhough the whole menu, and manually click the yellow button which is kinda a long process now i have hundreds of people and have to explain to all of them is really pain in the ass tho. its also irritating when you watch some movie and suddendly it stops tho especially watching sport.

  • Of course it is possible... but it would be better to solve the problem of Oscam freezing than to write unnecessary scripts that will cause temporary LAG anyway. It depends on what encoding you are using and what SAT provider you are using.

If you use IRDETO and are in CZ/SK, please write me a message... because unfreezing can be lengthy. I don't even have a basic understanding of other coding systems and I can't help with others.
