Hi, I don't know if this can help you, but previously, to change the MAC address with define, we used this method. Try doing the same for your IP address and see what happens.

How do I change the MAC address of an Octagon SF8008 to define?

Simply edit the network file:

path: /etc/init.d/networking

find "ifconfig eth0 up" on line 63

and add a new line 64 with your MAC address.

ifconfig eth0 hw ether 00:00:00:00:00:00
