Would anyone please be able to suggest options to try on an SF8008 that is at a remote location with unresponsive webif.
I have an SF8008 at a remote location that I control using Team Viewer to a PC that is on the same LAN as the SF8008.
All operations on the SF8008 are carried out via the webif in a browser (firefox or chrome) and it has been working OK.
I did a software update on an older version of OpenATV, all seemed to be OK, updated the SF8008, rebooted it and all operational.
After about 10 minutes of use, the webif froze and I can no longer get it to open up to control the SF8008.
I have dreambox control centre installed and it can connect to the SF8008 so I used the init 6 telnet command to reboot the box, still no webif access.
There is no webif access either using the dreambox control centre inbuilt webif. I also rebooted the remote PC, still no webif access.
FTP on the remote PC using filezilla can connect to the SF8008 and I can view the file structure.
Is there some way to get the SF8008 to reboot to another image slot via FTP or dreambox control centre or any other solution to resolve the issue.
I have another SF8008 that I could backup an image from but not sure how I would get that installed and booting in the remotely located SF8008.
