5 Sec Delay when changing 'channels/streams'

    Hi. Please may I ask the community for support.

    I have a Vu Duo 4K SE box. I use OpenVix. The box is connected via WiFi. I use Bouquet Maker Xtream. Channels/Bouquets are created successfully.


    Past few years, no issues with changing streams/channels and they changed immediately/instantly.


    Now suddenly when changing the channel/stream, it takes exactly 5 sec before it switches. I have tried this on a VU Duo 4K SE and a VU Uno 4K SE, both reset and flashed with an updated image and the same is happening. I have also tried OpenBH in case this was an issue with Openvix. Still the same.


    For reference if it helps, if I try the same on a PC using E-Channelizer, it zaps/changes straight away with no delay and also tried this on a Quest 3 using XCIPTV and it also zaps/changes straight away. It used to zap straight away with these VU boxes, but now not anymore unless I'm missing something that I need to change or configure.

    Approved the thread.

    maybe your line is redirecting from http to https. Or from one domain to an other.


    Get one of your streams urls.

    And type it in an online redirect checker.


    Alternatively try a different stream type. 1, 4097, 5002 etc
