    Sorry I left all the debugs turned on in that last release.
    You will end with large debug files if you have debug logs turned on.
    I just reuploaded. Most of you probably don't have debug logs turned on all the time.

    KiddaC So overall it works .... But on OpenViX and OpenPLi when you switch to channel from channel list it takes 4-5s to start playing.

    During that time the spinner is spinning which is annoying.

    What image do you use for development?

    Have you got debug logs on, there is currently a lot of debugs in the code while I am testing. Some of them are quite large data chunks.

    And as you know it has to create the link. But I was thinking it was a little slow myself. Maybe because of the picon downloads.
    I will do some more testing and determine what is slowing it down.

    Other things I am aware of now we got more portals working.

    Hide channels doesn't work in the current implentation. As we loading content per page now.
    So hiding channels, breaks the layout.

    Zapping through live, breaks at the end of a group of page content

    I don't know why VOD isn't working for some people

    I have been given a few portals to test that work in other plugins, but not this

    you have far too many errors in your log related to xdreamy skin.
    Its hard to see what is the cause of your crash is because of these errors.
    Try a default skin - and post your crash logs again - because at the moment I see no direct references to estalker in your logs.

    other type of list usable to other plugins (Bouquet Maker Xtream), for practical reason?

    No. I didn't had debug logs on when i was testing.

    But for comparison on OpenATV/Egami there is no that slowdown on channel switch from channel list.

    So it must be related to something in the code.

    And is not the play/stream link that slow it down since i do the same in my plugin but not any slowdown.

    Most likely is the picons or EPG downloads/try to download.

    No but lululla has just written a stalker to playlist plugin

    I not tried it, I dont know what it does, or how it actually works considering everything is token based. but if it just makes an m3u8 file, you can probably use it in bmx

    In reference to speed. And I said it could be the picon download. It is actually downloaded after the create link. So that isn't the cause.

    And we know openatv doesn't seem to have this speed issue.
    Zapping here takes about 1 sec. From clicking next, creating link, stopping previous stream, playing new stream.
    I also have a quad core box and super fast fibre.

    I have vuplus duo4kse which is also quad core.

    My internet connection is 1G fibre. But still it takes 5s to open a channel. And that only from channel list. Afterwards zapping makes 1s. If you go back to channel list its again slow. Its something channel list doing.

    I know is not present in openatv. But vix, obh, pli have that delay.

    It might take a few days for the next update. I am re-writing live again.
    I don't like the downloading of 14 items at a time. So going to download all channels on first load. And filter that big list for the categories.

    Because I want to have my show/hide channels option - I use that a lot with playlists.

    I will stick openvix on my other box and see if I can replicate your issue. And if I am feeling really stupid I might put vti on it after that. [shudder]
