I wouldn't use openmultiboot plugin. You are using different kernels on the images. You will get random issues.
You would be better off flashing an image that has chkroot multiboot in flash. You will have to install the multiboot manager plugin on other images that do not support hardware/kexec/chkroot multiboot.
When I tried to install the Openatv 7.5.1 flash on my dm920, I lost all the files I had in /data. He only left me empty folders.
A multiboot that defines itself as 'for all' should be much easier to use and, possibly, be installable on any image with a plugin. Barry Allen first and Alan Tuting later, allowed you to install, having a dreamos flash image, any image on SD/USB, both dreamos and open.
As far as I am concerned, I have tried OATV twice with bad results, and that is enough for me. Of course, I wanted to have DreamOS on the SD, which is the native image for such decoders.
There's a modified version of BA 12.91 (r2-MOD-RAED) that allows you to run DreamOS and other images.
Note: with modified Barry Allen:
- You can still use Flashed DreamOS image, but image in flash will always have a date in the past to prevent BA time bomb to delete your images.
- DreamOS Images and others are OK in BA multiboot
- All other BA features are still there

Probably the image in flash need to be a specific one
Or you need to reinstall the image and install BA before you set up settings so you don't get a recent date... maybe

I think you're right. In flash there must be a nude dreamos to be used only for SD installations. So the flash image doesn't seem to be as usable as passata wrote

I managed to install the BA left by Dreamboxv2
It seems to be working fine.
I'm still going to try neoboot. I have a lot of unanswered questions, but sticking with a multiboot plugin that's stuck in the past doesn't seem like a good solution either...

I also tried flashing Gemini images and I report something strange. In /etc/init.d/change_data I find 20210101, while on video it shows me current date and time. But, without putting the channel list, BA remains usable. It disappears if I insert list and tune a channel. This seems normal. But my backup, installed by a friend of mine, shows him the previous date on video and can also install and tune the channels, as passata says, and the plugin remains. How can it be explained?
Have you installed all BA dependencies?
