    In your case you should update ServiceApp ( ffmpeg + exteplayer 3), not just FFmpeg. Since your image has not been updated by the developer, you have the version you have. A better solution is to install a newer image for your box with new versions of exteplayer 3 and ffmpeg, e.g. Egami 11.0R1 with ffmpeg 7.1.1 or some newer image for your box. FFmpeg cannot be updated just like you think. Did you have some issues

    e.g with mediaplayer ( m3u or mp3 files ) , webcams , youtube because you have old FFmpeg. FFmpeg is usually updated by developers

    of image when is released new build.
