New Simplebuild OSCam - PCSC Support?

Hi guys,

Have rebuilt a new OSCam with Simplebuild 3, been years since last done this;

Long story short, when running the new OSCam with my old oscam.conf, oscam.server files etc., I'm getting this error:

ERROR: 'pcsc' is unsupported reader protocol!

And obviously then I'm missing my reader on the web interface, since it doesn't seem to know what to do with a pcsc reader in the oscam.server file.

When I was building with Simplebuild I went through all the addons, etc. in the menus, and only found "static_pcsc" as one of the options, ticked it just in case. But no explicit "enable pcsc support" in the menus.

Any help much appreciated.

UPDATE.

My server Ubuntu 24.04 is now running oscam r11730-799 Compiler: x86-64-cak7-icam_(sumur) . Is it possible for me to upgrade to the latest Oscam using the FTP method or is this version ok to run my s#yuk card.

I agree with you on that one. When I went to ubuntu 24.04 it presented me with a problem in the 'sudoers' file. I managed to sort it out with my very limited knowledge.

I am sorting out this server at my place of work during breaks and am testing the reader using old s#y out of date cards. I wanted to be sure that I have the correct oscam running before I move it to my house. My current server at home is on its last legs.

UPDATE,

I managed to get oscam 11878 installed on ym pc server. It see the details on the card so I feel confident running it a home .
