  • This thread is dedicated strictly to the IPTV Dream plugin. I have already provided comprehensive information in previous replies.

Regarding the IPTV Dream 4.1 update: I have added a feature that allows you to input your data via a Web interface on port :9999 (please remember to enable this port in the plugin settings first). I have also posted instructions and addressed common errors that many users make.

Therefore, I kindly ask you not to clutter this thread. Please keep it clean for plugin-related issues. If you wish to discuss general topics or debate other matters, please start your own thread. !

  • 📘 IPTV Dream v4.1 – User Guide

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: I have already explained all issues related to the operation and configuration of this plugin in detail. Please familiarize yourself with my previous responses to other users before asking new questions. Most solutions can be found there.

    1. Main Menu Overview

Upon launching the plugin, you will see a modern, two-column interface.

    Available Options:

    • 1. M3U URL: Load a channel list directly from a web link.
    • 2. M3U File: Load a local .m3u file from your device storage.
    • 3. Xtream: Log in using Server URL, Username, and Password (Xtream Codes API).
    • 4. MAC Portal: Support for Stalker/MAG portals (requires MAC address authentication).
    • 5. Own: Quick access to your saved M3U links.
    • 6. Language: Switch interface language (PL / EN).
    • 7. EPG URL: Add a custom EPG source.
    • 8. Web Interface: Activates the HTTP server for control via a web browser (Recommended!).

    2. Web Interface – Configuration via PC/Phone

This is the most convenient method. Instead of typing long URLs with your remote control, use your computer or smartphone.

    Instructions:

    1. Select option 8. Web Interface in the plugin menu.
    2. You will see a message: "Web Interface ON" and an address, e.g., http://192.168.1.X:9999.
    3. Enter this address into the web browser on your device.

The control panel will appear. Choose the appropriate tab:

    A. For M3U Links

If you have a direct link to your playlist:

    1. Select the M3U Link tab.
    2. Paste your link into the text field.
    3. Click "Send to decoder".

    B. For Xtream Codes

If you have login credentials from your provider:

    1. Select the Xtream Codes tab.
    2. Enter Host URL (with port), Username, and Password.
    3. Click "Send to decoder".

    C. For MAC Portals (Stalker/Mag)

If you use MAC address authentication:

    1. Select the MAC Portal tab.
    2. Enter the Portal URL and MAC Address (e.g., 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).
    3. Click "Send to decoder".
    Quote
⚠️ ATTENTION: When sending data via the Web Interface, the IPTV Dream plugin must be open and visible on your TV screen!

    3. Manual Method (Remote Control)

If you prefer not to use the Web Interface, you can enter data manually. Select the appropriate option from the menu (1-4).

    • A virtual keyboard will appear.
    • Enter the address/credentials and confirm by pressing the Green button (Enter) on your remote.

    4. Bouquet Selection and Export

Once the list is successfully downloaded, you will see the group selection screen.

    • Left Column: List of available channel groups.
      • Press OK or Green to select/deselect a group (marked with [x]).
      • You can select multiple groups at once.
    • Right Column: Preview of channels contained in the highlighted group.
    • Blue Button (Export): Press this when you have finished selecting. The plugin will create "User Bouquets" (Favorites lists).

    5. Completion

After exporting, you will receive a confirmation message.

    • For the new lists to appear in your channel list, a GUI Restart is required.
    • After the restart, you will find your channels by pressing the TV / Favorites button on your remote (usually at the end of the bouquet list).

Thank you for using IPTV Dream!

  • Is there any chance to export services of type 5002 instead of 4097?

At the moment, the plugin is set to use service type 4097 (Gstreamer) by default.

However, I have added this to my to-do list, and I plan to introduce an option to switch between 4097 and 5002 (ExtePlayer3) in the next version update.

  • Hi Pavel, very good work, I installed the latest 4.2 version, connected to the internet to the tuner, but no matter what I try to save online, nothing is saved. Can you make a file with ready-made test servers, so that it can be seen exactly how the servers should be applied to the file that is in etc/enigma2, thanks in advance.

You have written how it should be inserted for it to work. Go from page one and read everything is described properly.

Hi. You are approaching this the wrong way. The entire point of the version 4.x update is to eliminate the need for manual file editing in /etc/enigma2.

You do not need a 'ready-made test file' because the plugin creates these files automatically for you.

Please follow the instructions I have already posted:

    1. Open the plugin on your TV.
    2. Select option 8 (Web Interface) to turn it ON.
    3. Open the displayed address (e.g., http://YOUR-IP:9999) on your PC or phone browser.
    4. Paste your M3U link or Xtream data there and click 'Send to decoder'.

The plugin will automatically save the data to the correct file in /etc/enigma2 and load the channels. Do not edit files manually. If 'nothing is saved', it means you either closed the plugin on the TV before sending data, or you are not using the Web Interface correctly.

Pawel, I've read it several times, I'll say it again, the online connection works, but when I apply the server on my screen, it shows that it was sent to my tuner, but it's not actually saved, so I asked for a model so I can apply them manually, because I tried manually, but it doesn't work, apparently I'm making a mistake somewhere.

  • If the Web Interface says 'Sent to decoder', the data is received by the plugin, but you still need to trigger the loading process on your TV. It does not happen automatically in the background to avoid interrupting you if you are doing something else.

Here is the step you are likely missing:

    1. After sending data via WebIF, look at your TV screen.
    2. Select the menu option corresponding to the data you just sent (e.g., select Option 3 if you sent Xtream Codes, or Option 4 if you sent MAC Portal).
    3. Immediately press the GREEN button (Enter/Load) on your remote to process the received data.

Then simply wait. You will see the loading progress status on the bottom right side, next to the QR code. It will tell you when the channels are downloaded.
