This plugin is intended for a specific group of hobbyist users who like to keep local copies of movies and TV series on their receiver.
As one of those users myself, I sometimes need tools that help me manage my content. After watching a movie, I may not return to it until much later and would like to
resume playback from where I stopped.
The Enigma2 system provides a feature that remembers the last playback position of a movie or episode. This functionality relies on .cuts files.
Over time, these files accumulate, making it necessary to clean them from the receiver. For this reason, this plugin was developed.
It may not be useful for Some users, but it is useful for me, which is why I created it. I prefer to implement what I need myself rather than wait for others to do it. I am still at an early stage, treating this as a hobby.
Plugin Features
CutsClear is a plugin designed to manage and delete .cuts files on Enigma and Enigma2-based Receivers such as Dreambox and VuPlus.
Main purpose:
- Cleaning .cuts files that are automatically created when using the Cut / Markers feature in recordings.
