I think the reason has to do with sudden shutdown of the device, Enigma2 often reverts corrupted or unsaved configuration files back to their default states (which is usually disabled/false). However, If it happens repeatedly without any updates or crashes, it's almost certainly a bug in the plugin itself.

Editing the simply_sports.json file is not required, since changing the "active" parameter to true simply switches "Goal Alert" to VISUAL.

If I set "Goal Alert" to OFF (Blue button), the parameter correctly changes to false.

In the "Custom League View", there is no issue regardless of the Blue button’s position.

In version 2.2, there is no problem whether the Discovery option is ON or OFF. The "active" parameter changes normally between true and false.

Thank you for pointing out this issue. After a thorough investigation, I found the root cause. In check_goals() at line 998, there's a guard that returns early when self.active is False AND self.is_custom_mode is False. Since Goal Alert OFF sets active=False, and single league mode has is_custom_mode=False, no data is ever fetched. The fix is simply removing this guard — it's redundant because the timer itself is already gated by ensure_timer_state(). This fix will be included in the next update.

Soon, will have a new premium style for the notification toast and the top Mini-Bar. Both will have a similar look.

Yellow button:

The larger the match list becomes, the more erratic its behavior is.

If there are 21 matches, pressing "Show All" takes you to the "Today's Matches" window instead of "All Matches".

If there are even more matches, e.g. 30 matches, then pressing "Show Tomorrow" additionally takes you to "Live Matches" instead of "Tomorrow's Matches".

Blue button:

If the list contains more than 16 matches, then from "Goal Alert: OFF" it switches to "Goal Alert: SOUND".

It never switches to "Goal Alert: VISUAL".

To follow the normal button sequence, I have to press and hold the buttons; in that case they work correctly.

If fixing these issues is complicated, we could instead have popup selection windows when these buttons are pressed.

When the screen has 30 matches or more, rendering the UI takes the Enigma2 CPU longer (maybe 0.6 seconds instead of 0.1 seconds). The original code had a button debounce time of 0.5s. So if you held the button for even a split second longer than 0.5s while the UI was freezing to draw the 30+ matches, Enigma2 would queue up a second or even third button click, instantly skipping "All Matches" and jumping straight to "Today's Matches", or skipping "VISUAL" and jumping to "SOUND".
Can you try the following code attached?, just replace your py file in the plugin dir., check for future matches, and let me know

1. In this version, sports and tournament logos have been added to the top and bottom bars, as well as the notification Toast.

2. Added goal type details (regular goal, own goal, penalty kick).

3. Fixed an issue where one team's logo would incorrectly appear for a different team. The display of team logos for hockey has also been fixed.

4. The notification screen and bars now cache team logos to provide a smoother and faster display and navigation experience.

5. The individual and custom tournament selection screen now displays most major tournament logos.

6. Other fixes and improvements.
