  • Hi,

I've bought a remote chalet in Almeria and there is a 1.3m dish that was used a number of years ago for Astra UK channels. I know it's not possible to get that now and have an IPTV setup here as well, but I would like Live football (not delayed). So my question is would the dish be any good pointing at another satellite so I could recieve live sports. I know there are lots of channels around the globe that show English,Spanish and German football. I would need to buy a new lnb and linux based box, it would be a nice little project if possible. I have about 10 years ago used a VU+ duo and the Internet so understand what ts needed.

    Cheers

  • I'm sure someone could confirm but sure 16 east and definitely 19.2 east are easily picked up in spain. 16 east through digitalb package show 99% of premier league games with english commentary. Sky DE on 19.2 do show quite a few too in english but not as many as Digitalb. Both show championship games too.

Both packages (and alot more) are currently open with a viark/v8uhd receiver and a pretty low cost sub to forever/mars server.

Both those packages are also open on E2 machines.
