  • Good morning,
    I use oscam-11878-802.qnap-arm-libusb without any problems.
    I've added the latest version above.
    I'd like to ask Samur or anyone who can compile a more recent version, or one compatible with the 183e fix.
    On another machine, I use the Samur version, and it's perfect.
    Thanks to anyone who can help.

  • It doesn't work, the reader is unknown.
    Meanwhile, thanks for trying.

    No fix, 183e

  • It doesn't work, the reader is unknown.

    Use the classic reader 183E without any extra parameters or keys in oscam.server

    don't work.

    It seems that in this version something is missing to recognize the smartreader, udev error-

    /dev/serial/by-id: Failed to run or udev package not installed!

    The error reported in the USB scan menu is also present in the Samur version 11878-802, which works fine but doesn't update.

    The only difference is the color (red on the 11942 and black on the 11878).

    It seems the 11942 can't read the USB reader, as if it wanted to or was missing something.

    Today, I used the 11906-802 to update on another Samur machine. It took 5 seconds and was fine.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Good morning,
    I tried the two versions again.
    11878-802
    1) immediately recognizes the SmartReader;
    2) reads and updates the SGRs in a few seconds;
    3) reads 183e for both Tiger and Merling; it doesn't update.

    11942-802 doesn't recognize any SmartReader, 001:003, etc.

    I hope I've clearly explained the flaw in the version.

    Thanks again to Samur and anyone who can help me.

  • Thanks for your reply.
    But is the incompatibility in the 183e fix?
    I'm continuing to use your 11878-802 version on QNAP without any problems. It reads everything, only the 183e fix is missing, but I'm using it on another machine with your oscam-11906-802.armv7ve-libusb version.

  • Can we try the latest version?
    Perhaps one with the 183e fix and one without it, so we can get a better idea. It's a shame we don't have a single version that reads (11878) and updates. Thanks to Samur for your patience, and to anyone who can provide me with a version to test.
