Suggest me the best GTMEDIA receiver i can currently buy

    Hello!


    I'm currently using the GTMEDIA V8 UHD with the mars firmware and their yearly cccam service which works great.


    I need to get a second receiver for my parents house and im not sure exactly which receiver to buy at the moment.

    I'm between the V8 UHD or the V8 Ultra.


    Do yall have any experience with the V8 Ultra on Mars firmware?

    Update:


    Acording to GT Media themselves the V8 UHD and the Freesat V8 Ultra are the exact same thing board wise (they even use the same firmware).

    If any of you in the future happen to be in this dilemma as me, choose whatever you like look wise.

    Since you already know that your current device works well and I believe it is one of the best devices to work with Mars, I would choose the same one. I have a v9 prime with Mars and it also works very well.

    I have Freesat V8 Ultra with FUNCAM firmware yoou can switch to MARS as well and going back to FUN and you cannot flash on GT Media V8 UHD and more channels are available even if support is disappeared. GT Media and Freesat supports are dead.

    Wait you can put FUNCAM on gtmedia receivers? Is it any better than mars?
