Work?
Unfortunately, I'm not at home right now, but I'll give it a go this evening if I can. Thanks as always.

I had saved a .txt file containing the codes for all the missing cities, but they’re in no particular order – that is, they aren’t sorted by state. There’s a list of missing codes for each state, and I reckon it would take ages to sort them into their respective states… I can attach it anyway; it might be useful. I should mention straight away that I used AI, and even so, it took ages to do.
-
the animation works great..

-
I only have one animated icon on the left side. On the right, by the hourly forecast, they are stationary.
-
That's okay, that's how it's supposed to be...
-
Can the wind icon be moved to the right? Should it be like in the picture?
-
the file Foreca_Preview.xml must be edited ..

this this is wrong..
m sorry friend..
use this and edit it..and insert the change where it should be, but only if you've tested it on the foreca.com website; many of the ones you inserted don't work.
Take this and modify it, then send it to me via PM. It's not a problem. I'll make it available in the next updates.
Regarding the animated icons: it's just an option. You could delete the animationxxxx folder and then continue with the static icons.
I haven't finished making all the animated icons yet. Patience... it takes patience and a lot of time. And a lot of coffee, actually.

cool, the animated icons.

the file Foreca_Preview.xml must be edited ..
I see. I was hoping it might be helpful to just get the codes for the missing cities and then add them to the new_city.cfg file. I didn't think AI would have trouble finding the codes, since it wasn't supposed to generate anything new but just locate something that already existed. It would be a huge task to search for about 700 codes one by one...
As for the animated icons, I checked last night, and I see them too.
Thanks

AI won't be able to find the cities. To do this, I had to write a Python script with API and download all the cities except the ones I put on hold.
Every single event or line in this plugin was a sacrifice, I assure you.
I've put the compiled Python to download all the cities in my archive, but it's no longer useful. You have to take the suspended city, search for it on the site, and copy the city IDs into the cfg file.
I then had to do a live search for the cities not found via virtualkeyboard, but it only serves to memorize them. It doesn't save them in the cfg file.

It's important because it's faster ;)
It doesn't hurt to leave it. :) The online search function is really interesting. I don't know how I came up with that.
If you force a plugin update, you'll find more animated nighttime icons. I still have to make more icons.
-
well.. i have update 504 image animated..
We'll stop here unless there are serious errors. I have some problems at home. I hope you don't miss me.
-
Thank you. I hope not too serious problems.... Take care !

It must have been quite a chore, but I used the search feature too. I had entered a code from Foreca, but the plugin wasn't actually recognizing it, so the search immediately found the city I was looking for, added it to my favorites without any issues, and it worked right away. Sure, it would be convenient to have them all in a single file, but it’s impossible to include every city and town around the world, so for me, the search function is probably the best solution for everyone...
Thanks again for all your hard

Good morning and congratulations on the plugin. I can't change the city; I press the menu button, select city, but it tells me it couldn't find any cities and won't let me go back to the main menu.
