What is your experience using the NIM tuner (45308X) to receive 11760H/11778H from 39E (or 11330H/11491V from 30W), which use MIS-0 ?

Tested with the 45308X or another model ?

I have this unconfirmed theory that the 45308X can only process MIS values greater than 1.
I have no idea if this is a hardware issue or a software issue with the driver.

The Si216x works fine in DM box, but the 45308 in DM box only displays the signal and does not process any data

It doesn't specify what tuner in the DM box

The DM920, equipped with an Si2169D tuner and a BCM5308X, was used for the test.

Since Signal Finder in OE2.5 ignores extended transponder data in XML, to display the signal, you need to switch the mode to Transponder Manual and enter the parameters.

It has now been confirmed that the BCM45308X receives the signal.

However, problems arise during scanning

When ROOT is specified, PLS is ignored (number 171 shows the available multistream)

Once again, Signal Finder will not display the signal from XML.

However, no problems scanning when entering data manually (the number 171 also does not appear, as it does with BCM)

Both modes (ROOT/GOLD) display the service found

After adding c:001000 and f:5 to the found astra-sm service, processes the T2MI PID and converts it to an IP address for userbouquet

The same result applies to OE2.0 (BCM45308X - 0 service / Si2169D - 1 service)

PS: OpenViX displays the found service as C, and newNigma as 64.It’s a good idea to keep this in mind when creating astra.conf

In both modes (ROOT/GOLD), the result is the same - 1 service

It looks like the issue has been resolved in DM (I haven't been able to test it in VU)

You must use MIS-171, not MIS-0

So GigaBlue supports direct scanning of T2MI, just use the appropriate XML.
