How to share HDD from one box and mount it from the second box

    I'm looking for a way to record the emissions picked up by my DUO4KSE on the hard drive of the my VU+Ultimo. (share hdd/movie on my ultimo and mount it on my Duo)

    The Vu ultimo has a 15x VTI image

    The Vu duo has an openatv 7.6 image.

    when I do a network search from my Vuduo, I see the IP of my ultimo VU, but I don't access it.

    I have to set up the NFS and or the Samba, but how?

    IP duo 192.168.1.61

    IP Ultimo 192.168.1.60

    On the 2 receivers the root user has a password.

    on the other hand on my Synology NAS NFS works without problem and I can mount it from my vuDuo

    Approved the thread.

    It depends on whether an NFS server or a SAMBA server is running on the Ultimo.

    NFS usually does not require login credentials.

    SAMBA (CIFS) requires login credentials and sometimes a version as well.
