DreamTimeSync plugin for time synchronization on Dreambox receivers.

Now the first release of the DreamTimeSync plugin

Many Dreambox users suffer from time and clock synchronization issues, especially after booting the receiver or when a stable internet connection is not available. Therefore, this plugin was developed specifically for Dreambox users.

Plugin definition:

DreamTimeSync is a plugin designed to solve time-related problems on Dreambox receivers, especially the issue of delayed time setting or incorrect time after startup. The plugin automatically synchronizes the device time through NTP servers, with the option to use DVB channel / transponder time as an alternative solution if the internet connection fails.

• Automatically sets the Dreambox device time at startup.

• Code improvements and refinements
• Full compatibility with Python 2.7 / 3.12 / 3.14
• Now fully working on Dreambox 900, 920, Dream One, and Dream Two
  tested wit all images.

Several improvements and modifications have been made to the code, especially regarding the internet connection process failed during receiver startup.

Updates include:

• Improved handling when no internet connection is not available during receiver startup.
• Added timed retry intervals for reconnecting to the internet during the boot process when no connection is not available available, as well as continuous monitoring and periodic connection attempts.
• Added an option to enable or disable the plugin as needed.
