SatScanner Plugin for DreamOS
Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce SatScanner, a new plugin for DreamOS images.
SatScanner provides the same core features as SatFinder, with additional useful options to scan transponders, view found channels, play channels directly, and save scan results into bouquets.
Plugin Information
Plugin name: SatScanner
Supported images: DreamOS
Purpose: Signal Finder / Transponder Scan / Channel Save
Main Features
• Same SatFinder features
SatScanner includes the main SatFinder functions, including live signal monitoring to help with dish alignment and signal checking.
• Direct channel playback
Any found channel can be played directly from the scan results.
• Last Scanned bouquet
The plugin includes an optional Last Scanned bouquet to automatically keep the latest scan results, similar to OpenATV.
• Save channels to bouquets
Found channels can be saved directly after scanning. The user can choose an existing bouquet, replace a bouquet, or create a new one.
• TV channels filter
The scan results can show either TV channels only or all found services.
• Simple workflow
After saving the channels, the plugin confirms the action and asks whether to watch the channel now or continue scanning.
How to Open the Plugin
SatScanner can be opened from:
Menu → Service Searching
Plugins / Plugin Browser
Blue Button → Extensions
