Thanks.Yes stream it to a box that can handle 4:2:2 such as an nvidia shield or apple tv or a laptop. Take the stream from the webif on your vu + and play it on these type of boxes.

: I didn't quite understand what to do for my Vu+ Duo2 running the OpenATV 8.0.0 image.

Your box will not play 4;2:2. You need to use your box to stream to a more powerfull box that can decode 4:2:2. Open you boxes webif from a laptop or computer on the same network. From the tabs click current making sure you are on the feed and you have entered the correct keys. Click on the current channel name and it should either open the scream on the pc or allow you do download the stream and then play it.

Hello everyone.
Some feeds are in 4:2:2 format, and it's impossible to get an image on the Vu+. Is there anything that can be done about this? Thanks.1, Internal transcode 4:2:2 to 4:2:0 to stream
2, External transcode 4:2:2 to 4:2:0 in VLC or FFmpeg server3, Try use KODI in VU (similar to what GT Media does - software decode)
-
One last question: do the 4K Vu+ models support the 4:2:2 format?

Simplify your setup with compatible softcams, feeds, and URL sources
