Problem oscam and dvbapi

    Hello, Im new to the forum and have been using it to find fragmented information for my understanding. Ive just decided to stop and ask for help as clearly I'm going nowhere with progress to get this to auto roll. I'm at my wits end on trying to get oscam-emu to function. I have the Octagon SF8008. im using Open Atv 7.6 and im in North America.

    Honestly I'm in over my head with Linux. I have been able to install dream explorer. Use Putty to reveal the secret plugins directory. I downloaded from the plugins menu [ oscam-emu(11965+64doba32a0r3) ] for what ever that is worth.

    but nothing happens. it just keeps doing this over and over all night long.

    I'm sure it's my complete lack of understanding what I'm looking at in the config files

    I have read and read on this program topic but don't feel I understand what I am doing wrong any more than I did when I started.

    I have a GT Box that uses OScam and I've imported all my PV keys from that so I know my keys and current but it acts like it can't use them or It dose not see them and in the Live Log I see it find the SoftKey file and state how many keys are in it the file.

    I'm sure I have my config files all messed up from fooling around with it by now so I think i will do a clean reinstall of OpenAtv and If some one can give me a hand id be so happy. Im open to suggestions on what version of oscam-emu should be used as I'm not sure I'm even using the correct one.

    Your GT lines will probably not work on an enigma2 box as they will probably be tied down to that device.

    I have a guide here on how to setup openatv.

    You could also see if you have any luck with levi's Free server plugin. But I don't know what your options are in North America. Most free servers are european based,
