Hard drive issues

Ok guys i have my own duo with a 1tb seagate hard drive internal ,but im setting up another box and for about two weeks i can not get hard drive to function , im using vix 2.4 so went to black hole and initialized the drive and all is ok i can record 1 and watch one , time shift is ok but when i reflash vix it says no hd found or not initialized , ive tried lots of hard drives its really getting to me now , any advice
