HD question

There are 4 replies in this Thread which was already clicked 490 times. The last Post () by spaceship.

    running a share at the moment and have dm500s connecting into it.


    getting a couple of dm800hd boxes now for HD.


    Question is does HD need to activated on the sly account for the DM800hd to get the HD signal?

    the DM800HD can receive the HD signals (get a lock) but if it's able to decode, is offcourse depending on your subscription...


    You get the HD signal but if you are talking about your own sly card clearing the HD channels. you will need to subscribe. Not sure if that is a good idea if your sly box is an SD one, questions may be asked...

    great thanks, existing box is HD just wasnt subscribed to the HD package, wasnt sure if the signal is sent in HD as default or if i had to subscribe
