  • Hi to all

    Great forum, hope I can contribute.
    two days ago I switched from debian server running cccam only to ubuntu running oscam/cccam2.13 and for the most part seems to work. However I cannot access the webif part when I enter 192.xxx.x.xx:8888, all I get at this point is "This webpage is unavaiable". If i just enter 192.xxx.x.xx then I get "It works... No content has been added yet."
    My oscam.conf is as follows:

    [global]
    logfile = /var/local/oscam.log
    nice = -1
    maxlogsize = 0
    cachedelay = 120
    saveinithistory = 1

    [webif]
    httpport = 8888
    httpuser = admin
    httppwd = admin
    httpallowed = 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255
    httprefresh = 10

    [newcamd]
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    port = xxxxx@0963:000000
    keepalive = 1
    debug = 255

    I am sharing ok but this has had me stumped for 2 days. I read earlier problem from Chris4 and changed "httpallowed" to above and rebooted but no luck, hope someone can help.

  • Thanks Ten
    In your link for the latest version of oscam, do I go to the last thread and download that link, dated yesterday? I am using Ubuntu 12.04 , 32 bit.
    When I update I assume I need to edit my 3 oscam files, conf., user and server, is this correct?
    Thanks in advance.

    Yes go for the latest file, there is no need to edit the configs just follow the guide you are only replacing the oscam binary file.

  • There is just one oscam executable file.

    The rest: oscam.user, .server, .<everything> are config files.
    These do not update, they stay on your OS to be read by the updated build.

    So download a latest version of Oscam, this is specific to your CPU, (32/64 bits etc)
    and update only the executable file with the download.

  • Hi ten

    many thanks, all sorted with webif which is great, and can see who is connected in my cccam port.
    Only issue I have now is that espn is not clearing which is the reason I started the change over from only cccam to oscam/cccam in the first place.
    my white list is:
    ecmwhitelist = 0963@000000:3E,4F,42,44,45,47,4E,53,54,56,61,67,62,68,69,6A,6B,6E,6D,6F,71,72,73,77,78,74,79,7A,7C,7D,7E,80,8B,85

    which I think is the latest. Any ideas appreciated but glad to get one thing sorted.
    Back later.

  • Hmm.. Whitelist looks fine..

    What does oscam.log tell you, when trying to watch ESPN ?

  • Sorry Ten
    This will be like pulling teeth for you ever time you ask a question but I know little about oscam. is that the file in var/local? If it is should I be erasing anything out so that others cannot see?
    I looked at there briefly and it has entries up to 13:20.

  • Hi Ten

    Lots of entries as follows:

    2012/10/03 14:58:55 99926F0 r ***uk [smargo] smargo init
    2012/10/03 14:58:55 99926F0 r ***uk [smargo] ERROR: Opening device 003:002 (errno=2 No such file or directory)
    2012/10/03 14:58:55 99926F0 r ***uk [smargo] Cannot open device: 003:002

  • Earlier entries also:

    2012/10/03 13:20:55 0 s ERROR: Cannot open file "/usr/local/etc//oscam.tiers" (errno=2 No such file or directory)

    2012/10/03 13:20:55 0 s ERROR: Cannot open file "/usr/local/etc//oscam.cacheex" (errno=2 No such file or directory)

    I see whitelist mentioned in these errors and these files are not present.

  • These 3 lines appear and are repeating every minute.

    If you got that... Not only ESPN is not opening.. Nothing will..

    Click on "Scan USB" in top of readerpage to find the correct xxx:xxx ...

    Set it to the reader accordingly, and re-post a log after..

  • Hi Cap
    everything else is ok, I have done a "lsusb" and 003:002 is correct.

    Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
    Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
    Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
    Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
    Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC

    Wher is "scan usb" option exactly?

  • Its the same as lsusb, but then from GUI..
    Should be at the top of the READERS page.

    Could it be possible that CC-Cam has taken ownership of the reader ?
    This could happen when CC-Cam is started first, and Oscam after..
    Try to kill CC-Cam.. And start oscam only to test.

    Also.. Can you post your oscam.reader as its currently configured ?

  • Oscam.reader as follows:
    [reader]
    label = sxxxx
    protocol = smargo
    device = 003:002
    enable = 1
    cardmhz = 600
    mhz = 600
    ident = 0963:000000
    boxid = yourboxid
    blockemm-u = 0
    blockemm-s = 0
    blockemm-g = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    lb_weight = 101
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    group = 1
    caid = 09xx
    ecmwhitelist = 09xx@000000:3E,4F,42,44,45,47,4E,53,54,56,61,67,62,68,69,6A,6B,6E,6D,6F,71,72,73,77,78,74,79,7A,7C,7D,7E,80,8B,85

    Put in some x's, not sure of protocol here.

    Could you talk me through stopping cccam and starting oscam.

    My cccam.cfg still has my old entries
    eg
    BOXKEY: /dev/ttyUSB0 0x xx xx xx
    SERIAL READER: /dev/ttyUSB0
    smartreader+
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyUSB0 6800000

    could this be a problem and how do you tell server to start oscam first and then start cccam?
