flash vu over telnet

    hi guys is it possible to flash a backup image through telnet my mates vu solo box. its down but he lives over an hour away i have full accsess to his box as i set it up for him

    no thats not possible..


    simplest way seems some Teamviewer software to remote control ?

    Or U could also ask go into his vu+ web info page (port number 80) and use remote control and manually use his remote while getting screen shots. I've done it on a dm500 but id imagine vu+ would be similar

    Well.. To flash a box thru a remote connection is not without risk..
    I would never upload firwmare into the box from a remote location..


    But pure technically.. yes.. that is an option too.
