restrict network access

Hi all,
I have a startrack 2014 receiver. I'm using a shared wireless connection. i put startrack on wireless and assigned a static ip. Now when i go to my computer and try to access the receiver, it does not ask for any kind of authentication ( logs in directly and all the files are accessible, including my plugged in USB externel HDD , which contains lots of private files) . Is it possible to make the receiver let only authenticated clients connect ?
