Digital+ has launched a new hybrid TV service, bringing over-the-top content to its iPlus set-top box. The combined linear and over-the-top service has been developed in part and secured by Nagra.

Customers pay a monthly ?5 premium to access iPlus, which already delivers HD and 3D content, and features a 500 GB hard disk. ?We have a longstanding relationship with DIGITAL+ and are thrilled to continue to partner with them in delivering these value-added services to their viewers. The service will be extended over the next few months to run direct over the PC. Tablet and smartphone-based versions are also planned.
