  • Hi All

    I have managed to install the autoscript for Oscam and CCCam compiments of "silverfox"

    I have the server up and running, but when I check the oscam log files the following message is displayed every 6mins, is this an issue or should I just ignore it.

    Sat Nov 10 10:18:01 GMT 2012: Couldn't find oscam.x86 running. Restarting server-binary
    Sat Nov 10 10:24:01 GMT 2012: Couldn't find oscam.x86 running. Restarting server-binary

    I never tried this auto install but reading the thread i see others reported the same problem, You will find the script files in directory /var/script i would compare or even change it if different to this tried & tested one.

    How to "Oscam check script"

    In my opinion these checkscripts are not necessary on a linux pc server as i know from my own experience that servers will run perfectly well for weeks on end without them, if you want to disable it & see how you get on without it then edit the file /ect/crontab and remove this line in red then reboot.
    I would probaby do the same with the cccam check in all honesty.

    Code
    55 05 * * * root killall CCcam.x86
    55 05 * * * root pkill oscam.x86
    57 05 * * * root /var/script/configupdate.sh
    58 05 * * * root /var/script/keyupdater.sh
    59 05 * * * root /usr/local/bin/oscam.x86 -b -c /var/etc/config
    59 05 * * * root touch /media/card/camlogs/CCcam/CCcam.log && /usr/local/bin/CCcam.x86 -d >> /media/card/camlogs/CCcam/CCcam.log
    [COLOR=#ff0000]*/6 * * * * root /var/script/OscamCheck.sh[/COLOR]
    */6 * * * * root /var/script/CCcamCheck.sh
    05 06 * * 7 root /var/script/LogCleanUp.sh >> /media/card/camlogs/CleanUp.log

    Let us know how you geton.

  • Thanks Ten Below, its now not reporting anything, but server still working fine, oh well, if I dont see it then theres nothing wrong!
