Server problems

please your tutorial on the oscam /cccam on Ubuntu SERVER 12.10/12.04............. I am a beginner so 4give me my 1st question.........can you choose to use only the cccam or both the cccam and the oscam work hand in hand? i am asking this question because as at now i do not have an omnikey reader, i will get one next month, also if the cccam server can work without depending on oscam then i can dance to that .

2)this is on the dns server.......let say i am using noip right , and i download the updater soft .......must you create a hostname for any c:line generated in the cccam sever? ............. could you please demonstrate on that starting form the dns zone and how your c: line will be like ........thankz :hilinuxsat:

Ten BELOW yes that was the tutorial i used. after the installation was done............but after registering for noip dns and creating the hostname also i downloaded the noip dns updater. i created my f: line and my c:lines but when i test it with the C:N line tester is always a bad line
...........................ok one thing i just noticed booting my server today was that the server name.............it says could not reliably determine the server fully qualify domain name using 127.0.1.1 for server name
