Hi everybody
Hoping somebody can help me. I am learning my way round using a linux sat box I have gotten CCcam up and running but am having no luck with Mgcamd the cam is running but no channels are opening, I have read most of the tutorials and tried the solutions, so far nothing is working. I am running the latest version of VIX and camd 1.35a.

Try setting the box type in mg_cfg to # 06 dreambox/mips

I already tried that but just in case I gave your cfg ago and still nothing. If there was a error message or something it would help but just say mgcamd started and that's it. thanks for your speedy reply
Where are you adding the C or N line to open channels, need more info how it looks in case that is an issue as well..
Have got the N-line in newcamd.list in Var/keys the same folder as the cfg and is written out like this CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300 CWS = xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com 1xxxxx user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
Move the newcamd.list and mg_cfg to usr/keys not var/keys..
Sorry my mistake they are in usr/keys
Remove the version of mgcamd you have installed, restart the gigablue then install this enigma2-plugin-cams-Mgcamd_1.38-ViX and restart the gigablue again..
Add your CWS line to the newcamd.list thats already in usr/keys, restart mgcamd, you may want to edit mg_cfg like in post #2

Yay got it running by changing N: to 01 and everything is clearing

I have my line as follows: N: anyone.org 52111 user password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 in newcamd.list.
Its the only line in the list.
I am running open rsi, on a gigablue quad ue 800.
Is there anymore configurations or files I need to add.

Its ok got it sorted.
Installed 1.35a I had 1.38 instlalled.
Newcamd.list is =:
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = N: anyone.outthere.org 567891 user password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan

surely you don't need the N: in that line
