PKT GM990 NEBULA v3 image issues

    hi all


    ive just purchased an alien 8900, flashed it with PKT GM990 NEBULA v3 image


    issue 1
    i need to tweak the alignment on a couple of sats (yes i know i should get up a ladder and align my dish)
    when i adjust the dish west a couple of steps and store location, the motor swings back to original position.
    what am i doing wrong?


    issue 2
    every so often i get the spinning rainbow in the top left. i left it for upto 10mins with nothing happening.
    has it crashed? or is it doing something?

    Have you stored the position when you have nudged it over?


    You could try altering the USALS east/west co-ordinates slightly to remove the alignment error until you can get round adjusting the dish. I did that a few years ago and it works sweet. I still haven't got round to re-adjusting the dish lol.


    Images for this receiver are still a bit flakey, they will get better in time. Usually if the spinner is there for a long time its likely the box has locked and will require switching on and off at the power switch on the rear of the box.
