Called sly yesterday and added the movie pack but 24hr later it still hasn't come on. Does my card need to be in the original box when they switch them on?

do you have save emm in server cfg for oscam ! Also up to date whitelist should be in use !

Not sure mate will check but I have put the card in original box and channels still aren't working. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow but I wonder is this all because I had the card in the server at the time they added the movies to my subscription?

If you are updating a package, if you have the original box then it is best to have the card in the original box on the channel they advise you of in order to update the package. If you are not using the original box, then you need to have your configs set up to allow updates. No it is not true that you denfinitely do need to put your card in the original box to update it so long as you have things set up right, however the original box will work without any messing, but if you want to know if you are set up to receive emm updates, we need to know more about your setup and see your configs to see if your card will receive updates. There is a lot of info on this on the forum, which would depend on your setup as to what you need to follow. -
Cheers muso, I left the card in the original box overnight and by this morning the channels were on. It'd be worth my while sorting out the updates from my server. Can u point me to any useful tuts.

just went comapred the configs in that tut Oscam + CCcam 2.1.3 config to my own and they are identical? could there be any other reason my card isnt updating in my server?
