  • Hi guys

I'm in India at the moment, have webmin installed on the server in UK, webmin is showing 3 updates, base system files, bash update and linux-image 3.2.0-4-686-pae update to 3.2.35-2. Is it ok to run the system update whilst i'm not in UK as i dont want the server to mess up. Will the update just unpack and update the system files or will i need to input things as per original setup?

    TIA

  • If you are concerned about it then so long as things are running ok, why risk it? although usually the updates would be ok, there is always the risk of something going wrong, so if you are not physically there to put things right then if I were you I would leave this until you are not miles away from your server!

If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....
