ferguson combi 210`

    hi guys, my m8 has this ferguson arriva210 combi, and he flashed the wrong firmware to box, now all thats on screen now is DvbXtreme and error message on it. remote does not respond to it... any help on this one, maybe someone came accross it b4

    Just reflash an original Ferguson image to it using the Ferguson loader software and a null modem cable

    On that page you will find all you need to recover your receiver.


    Use ArivaUpgrade.zip to load the firmware to your receiver from the PC. Unzip it first and then install it on your PC. If your PC doesn't have a RS232 serial port, don't bother with the USB to Serial converters as they don't work.


    Get a PCi Serial add on card as they work fine :haha:


    Download and upzip A210Combo_2.18B4.zip. This is the software that needs to be reloaded onto the box.


    Switch receiver off and Start the loader program. Select the file and start the flashing sequence. switch the receiver on and the software should recognise the receiver is connected and start loading the firmware to it. Hopefully it will work and recover your box.


    Once its up and running again, make sure you are using the right firmware patch, if you intend to try installing it again. If the patch isn't written for your receiver it could very possibly brick it next time.


    if its not written for the 210 dont use it.
