dm800 hd pvr remote issues

can some one please help me my remote is taking a very long time to respond when i press buttons to comunicate with my reciever and yes before someone says check battries there brand new battries i have to press the up down buttons like loads of times to get the channel list moving from menue to menue takes forever its abrand new reciever and remote what can be the isue also i have tried set up remote to use with tv i press tv then press hold shift/set up tv light blinks 2 times i entered all the samsung codes for my (samsung tv) which are if any one is looking for them (0648 0617 0208 0067 0586 0123 0674 0039 0247 0478 0400 0090 0294 0246 0320 0102 0238 0549 0193 0655) tried every single one of the one by one nothing when i am using the remote for the dream box it can work fine for like 5 minutes then i have to press crazy with the buttons to make it respond and then its very slow in responding has any one else got this issue if so please advise would be helpfull
