  • Just lOoking at my servers Oscam and instead of saying found a channel in 100ms it said cache1 in 120ms? What does this mean, I installed csp partially but stop a quarter of the way I as I hadn't a clue. Anybody know?

    VU Duo VIX OE3.0

    OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build #6059
    CCcam 2.1.3 server

  • This just means that the ECM and CW is in cache already so oscam did not need to look to your card or proxies..
This can occur when two of your clients are watching the same channel at the same time.. I am surprised you have not come across this before now..

  • Ye that is strange because oscam by default uses cache in that situation... Either way m8, it is nothing to worry about, Its just oscam saving your card a few unnecessary hits...

This is very useful info for me.

Please tell me, do you have any cache-ex peer connected in mode-1 ?
Also, did you patch your oscam with any patch from streamboard ?

    Please respond.. thx!

Oh and PS: thatfellow, you are talking about cache2 hits. These are from local cache.. cache1 should not hit, without mode-1 cache-peers.
