Best place to start is by looking at this thread Getting Started - Flines & Clines For Beginners.
To find out how to open ports on you router goto portforward.com.
Dont be afraid to ask more question pal,, we are here too help..
You had any luck with the ports mate ?
No,is it possible to help me?
Have you read the tutorials mate?
I dont understand it.
At first I have to add to my router Dynamic DNS - hostname, username, pasword
OK?
You setup a hostname at dyndns.com.
You can download the updater from the same website or put the details in your router so that your server will stay online at all times.
Tell us your router make and model and we can help with the portforwarding.
TP link Model No. TD-W8960N
Here is the details on how to open ports on your router HERE
The default port that everyone uses is 12000,, thats just an example.
If you are going to use a differant port make sure it matches the " server listen port " in the cccam.cfg on your server.
Cccam.cfg can be found in var/etc for enigma1 receivers or /etc for enigma2.
Use this website canyouseeme.org to check if the port has openned properly.
Let us know how you get on pal..
I think it?s OK.
Now cccam config - I can create cline for You for test.
..what can I do?
thnx master g
justing getting started , been reading alot trying to take it all in.
If all fails at least ur within driving distance lol
thx again
put the details in your router so that your server will stay online at all times.
Alright mate, does this actually work?I use DYNDNS updater at the moment, when router reboots I get given a new ip is there anyway to update dyndns with new ip without using update dyndns?
If your router allows it, then its by far so much better than using the updater client. Router is always powered on so your server wont ever go offline compared to the updater client that needs to have the pc/laptop powered on at all times. Look in your router for dynamic dns and add your hostname details.
just give one of your friends a line to test buddy and you will know very quickly if working or not
