no or unkown card

bought an elite fusion card off flebay,but when i put it in my smargo reader it shows as no or unkown card,i have left it on the channel for a while but still not updating.
am i being an idiot or am i missing somethin ?
any help most welcome.

I presume you are using either oscam or newcs to read this, check the emu you are using is running.

i still cant get this card to clear,have tried cccam +oscam,ccccam 2.2.1.
still gives me no or unkown card. :(

Oscam+cccam will read the card just fine, but it wont activate it.
