  • i have currently been trying to set up an ubuntu server using with automatics install script from the tutorials

    ive install ubuntu got the cccam and oscam web interfaces set up, installed my omnikey, installed webadmin but im stuck at what to do next.

    i have card and placed it in the omnikey, ran pscs scan but the card shows as unresponsive. do i need to do anything with the card?

    also can anyone tell me what the next steps for me to do so i can start to share my card on my internal network to my openbox F5

    thanks

  • cheers mate got the card to be read now and also posted in the introductions forum. so is my next step editing my oscam server files with the details from my card?

    nice one

  • ye mate you need the configs ect for your card if you tell us what card you have we can help you further ??

    Without knowing which automatic install script you used and what card you have there is no way of telling what else needs configured..

    It`s possible oscam is already configured for your card and you only need to setup an F line in the servers CCcam.cfg for the openbox..

    Servers CCcam.cfg

    Code
    F: openbox password

    Openbox

    Code
    C: [COLOR='#FF0000']192.168.1.67[/COLOR] [COLOR='#00FF00']12000[/COLOR] openbox password

    192.168.1.67 = servers ip address
    12000 = server listen port in CCcam.cfg

  • ok ive added my fline to the bottom of the ccam.cfg file and add the c to my f5, on the cam menu its says Login instead of active can you shed any light on where im going wrong?

    i take it im using the internal ip for my server 192.0.0 in the cline and not 127.0.0 whatever

    thanks

  • ok so ive done a fresh install and copied the files from above onto my server the log from the status page is now showing this

    You are using omnikey but have the [reader] setup for a smargo..

    Have you followed this http://linuxsat-support.com/li…key-readers-linux-pc.html ?

    The [reader] should be setup like this;

    ####oscam.server####

    Code
    [reader]
    label = ***UK
    protocol = [COLOR='#FF0000']pcsc[/COLOR]
    device = [COLOR='#FF0000']0[/COLOR]
    blockemm-g = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    group = 1
    caid = 0963
    ident = 0963:000000

    Make these changes then show us the log again buddy..

  • thanks, made the changes you suggested and it telling me card ok (16 entitlements).

    this looks like its trying to connect to my ***box but cant for some reason?

    also i deleted the files from the above link as there now seem to be several copys of the oscam files and ccam files on my server but in different locations is this correct?

  • you have to make a acount for your box in your server im on oscam only and i have to do this to get my box to work.

    [account]
    user = user ( change to what you wont )
    pwd = pass ( change to what you wont )
    keepalive = 1
    group = 1,2
    cccmaxhops = 3
    cccreshare = 0
    cccignorereshare = 1
    numusers = 1

    this is in my oscam.user config

    C: 123.345.1.678 78910 usuer pass

    and this is what i put in my cccam config on my duo and works a treat

    woz

  • thanks woz got it sorted now, i entered my details into mgcam and its clearing the channels now. no doubt ill have plenty more questions soon, nice one
