i have tried everything i a using a smargo have updated it to v1.4 and still i am lost

i have been using cccam on its own for years now so i know smargo works fine but now discided to change but am lost spent all day and nearly all night nut no closer

thanks for he replies i updated the reader software today to 1.4 and does not go through a hub and still getting same message thanks any more surgestions i would really appritiate it doing my head in

hi im starting to tink it maye a hard disc error as wen i do the commad all i get is io error again and again put old hard disc back with cccam only on it and works pefect so i know thereader isfine and thoughts on this thanks alot

2 days i been at this and finally sorted it for any one who has a problem with a smargo and is using the automated install script from here is to remove brltty carnt beleave it all worked once i done that i thought i had done that ages ago but brltty i thought contained a (i) but its not it contains a L in smaller case command is wget remove brltty thanks to every one who tried to help well appriciated i will of course return the favour and try to hep others i did not just join here for what i needed my self
