It has worked for me. It?s even quite easy to realise.

Want to write a how to guide mate??

Install the latest .abs for your region.
Reboot the box.
Go to Menu MGCamd Plug Setup then to Manage Config Files, select newcamd.list
Press the green button a new window will open, select Single Account
Host : IP of the server from your provider or friend
Port the port your provider or friend uses on his server
User: the name your provider or friend gives you as a login
Password your password linked to that login
The DES key, should it not be there, all following without a space.
And its all. Just reboot and it will work AS A CLIENT.

Hold on!! Mgcamd give the openbox the ability to act like a server ?

Never heard of anyone sharing through mgcamd myself though...

Everything you see, you think oh this may be it, but its only about a client and how they got it working!

Surely someone has it set up if it is possible!

Would be fairly frustrated if I had one myself...

Its very annoying having jus a client, wud be awesome to have a box as cheap as the openbox to be able to behave act as a server.

Lets hope some one cracks it soon

Even if it is cracked, Mgcamd isn't too enticing if you know what i mean...

Always said it was too cheap to be true! Good box i'm sure though for hd and all!!

Well i have kinda gave up on waiting for it to be turned in to a server, as you can tell im trying to look for a DM500 so dat i can use dat as a server!
