  • Hi All,
I need some suggestions on what is the best way to add a second linux server which will be connected to the same router.
At the moment I have a Dyndns account which works fine. My lynksys router has the DDNS feature which syncs to this account and was simple to get running initally. If I add a second server unit with a different port will this be ok. My second option it to use another Dyndns account which I have in place but never used however the dropdown DDNS option in the router lists 2 service providers (the second one being TZO.com).

    Hope I explained myself properly.
    Thanks in advance.

  • just open up another port assign to the new server with a diff I.P also = done

you use the same Dyndns account... just use the new port when making friends

    hope this helps bud

If my post helps hit the Thanks ;-)
